I definitely still feel some kinda way about Cody after the AEW shit, but man I gotta give him his flowers for that shit. That was some gangster ass shit, ain’t no way around it. That bruise was BLACK. No sane man should be fighting/wrestling thru that. And then on top of that, I figure the match ends up being super short and restricted to protect him, naw they go basically all out. That takes a different kind of toughness, mentally and physically. Some are saying that it’s a work and the bruise was makeup, but that shit would have been getting all over the mat and clothing if that was the case, plus he was super swollen, even from a lil distance. The “tendon detached from the bone” part may have been an over exaggeration jus to paint him tougher, cause idk if you’d even be able to move it whatsoever if that was the case, but either way, it was clearly real life FUCKED UP and he shouldn’t have been doing the match.
I personally feel like Seth was originally sposed to win and make the trilogy 2-1, but they changed it due to the injury and gave Cody the 3-0 since he’s bout to be gone for basically the rest of the year now lol.
Glad I still went tho, that was prolly my favorite live wrestling show I been to strictly cause of my seat, feel like I finally experienced live wrestling the way it’s sposed to be. Line-up still could have been better but overall it was a pretty solid show when it’s all said and done, and the main event exceeded expectations.
Anywhere from lower 100 to floor is the place to be for wrestling for sure. I only ever did nosebleeds for wrestling up until now and it’s night and day. Everything from concerts to other sports can all be enjoyed even up high, but I feel like spending the extra is almost a necessity for wrestling. I’ll definitely never go again if I can’t get good seats, I’ll tell you that much.
I feel the exact same way. It's a whole different experience for sure. I always make sure to buy tickets in this specific spot in our local arena that is at the top of a tunnel so I basically have a "front row" of sorts at row 15 or whatever. The upper deck is just a bit too far IMO.
Who is surprised? Tony Khan hot shotted the Hardy Boyz once he signed Jeff and let Jeff do a bunch of dangerous stunts. The dude said before he self medicates his injuries with booze.

That's insane. I don't even know how he got in a car at all.
