I'll definitely read up but I still think this was a poor decision to scrap it. The valley is a boring smoggy ass place, and the three waterparks we have are giant successes.

I just watched the pov for iron rattler. It looks fun but the middle of the ride looks like it drags through the top of the mountain pretty slow. Don't know if I'd like that part. The inversion is a nice touch but I have a feeling the tunnel section will be the highlight.

Yes. The old Rattler was much worse. That section used to be a giant triple helix that was slow as hell

Cedar point will be releasing an official pov for gatekeeper today. It opens saturday. I wish I could make it :-(

for opening day of this coaster, you'll have to wait like 2 hours on line. take a day off and go during the week

I went to the diamond back opening day and was on the third train out when it opened to the public. We got there at 6 am and it opened at 9. By the time I got off the ride the line was 8 hours long. I was only there to ride that then we left.

I wouldn't have waited like the people who got there around 9 did but getting there before the park opens is cool. A ton of excitement around the park. News is there. Owners and manufacturers are there to talk and answer questions. They give out a bunch of free stuff to the first riders.

Its not for everybody but I enjoyed it.

Left is going to be the preferred side. Back left will be the most intense spot on that. I've been om a wing coaster trust me on this you get a very strong whip on these

I noticed that the left side seemed more intense. I wish I can get up there sometime to ride this, but POV's will have to do for now.

Apparently my mom is trying to plan a trip to Disney World next summer... Kinda want to do something else but it would be fun.

I'd probably have to do that one on my own time with friends maybe. I'll just tell her that we have to go to Sea World. I have yet to go on a flying coaster yet. Superman at SFOG broke down when we were close to the front and we were leaving Atlanta that day (this was like 8 years ago though).

I mean, it would be like when we went in 2011. There would be us four, my cousins and their parents, and then my grandparents. 10 people total. That's why we would have to go to Disney

No idea but cedar fair has already started the teasing. With some signs and the name banshee being filed again with the state.
