the fourth kind isnt a horror movie its science fiction
I would say it's both.
I still hated it, though. If you have to make people believe that your movie actually happened in order for them to see it, you don't need to be making movies.
what? if they had it without the actual footage in there it would still be a great movie, in my opinion it just adds an eerie feel that it actually was a true story
to me, horror movies have killers, a chase, and a stupid person falling while running plus, im biased because im spr interested in aleums
I think it was just that that ruined that whole movie for me though. None of it actually happened. The woman from the "real" footage is an actress, and nothing of that event actually happened. That is what I hated about that movie is that is the only reason people thought it was good, at least the people I met. They thought they were getting the "truth", despite the fact all of it was fake. I think if they just made it into like, psychological thriller without the "footage" it would of been great.
Yep. I am a huuuuuuge horror/paranormal fan, despite the fact I already don't believe anything paranormal is real, lol. But after spending time on the paranormal board on 4chan, someone dug up all links and the pages of the actress who was the psychiatrist in the "real" footage, and explained that all of it was completely fake. I also did research on my own, and yeah, it's all fake. That was the only selling point for that movie.
Oh, tell me how it is. I'm stuck on seeing it. I know it's made by the same people who did Superbad, then it has the two guys from Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead, and then Seth Rogen, but the concept kinda turned me off.

But to each their own.
i never once bought it as being "real", not even when i hadn't seen it yet, i knew it was all BS from the start. i still like it even though i knew the whole time it was fake. there are so many ways you can tell it was fake.
