I used to be such a baseball fan that I was one of those kids that would post up at the airport, waiting for the Braves to return from their series losses in '91 and '92
My dad took me to the first Red Wings Stanley Cup parade in 1997 and I went to the last one in 2008. If the Triggers or Lions ever won a title you bet I'd be down there.
Kinsler won a Gold Glove, finally. Also the Astros are rumored to be interested in Cabrera but again, doubt anything happens there unless they cough up Correa (they won't).
The John Hart method: Bring in past-their-prime starters to hold the fort and provide leadership until the young guns are ready. He did the same thing with the mid 90s Indian teams with Dennis Martinez, Orel Hershiser and Doc Gooden
Do the Braves have any good pitching prospects waiting to come up? Serious question.
Tons
Most of the major prospects they've acquired in their rebuilding are of the pitching variety. They've also drafted lots of pitching at the top of their last couple of drafts to a lot of success
No and I regret it yet don't due to how disgustingly jam packed everything was.
And before any shit is talked, the majority of the people I personally know that went are thots that never watched a single sports game in their life and jus went to get fucked up and day drink and act like diehards. So that truly wasn't a "real fan" thing.
