DeGrom likely done for the year. Brutal injuries this year for the Mets.
been tough that's for sure...Collins had to tape the team together at times and still in the playoff race..Good coach but some of his decisions make me smh
It's his Ulnar nerve in throwing arm...Makes your pinky finger and half of your ring finger numb...When I fell off the back of the truck last year and shattered my wrist I also damaged my ulnar nerve..I deferred surgery till it really starts to bug me. So far so good..A little annoying at times....Fucking pussy should get out there and pitch imo. Fuckers are babied today....Also did you hear the rumor MLB is thinking about trying out IN MINORS first a 3 ball 2 strike system to make the game quicker and protect pitchers? Fucking bullshit if they ever do that....
It's pretty remarkable that in my lifetime, pitchers have literally seen their workloads cut in half
Leo Mazzone is my pick for the best pitching coach ever, and his philosophy was always that pitchers should pitch *more* to avoid injury. He has a segment on local radio and is always railing about these pitchers being cradled and having their pitches counted. It should be noted that Greg Maddux pitched 200 innings yearly his entire tenure with the Braves, even during the 2 strike shortened seasons
