I don't get fantasy baseball scoring. Yesterday I was winning 7-1, now I'm losing 2-5.
You may have been winning 7-1 during the day, but the final scoring for the day includes everything that happened including the late games.
The scoring is super easy. Its broken up into 10 categories and it's simple. Whoever gets more home runs for the week gets one point, whoever gets more rbi's gets one point, and so on. If you click on "matchup" you will see who leads in each category after one day.
Right now I am leading in HR, SB, Avg., Era., and Whip. = 5 points
You are leading in Wins and Strikeouts = 2 points
We are tied in Runs, RBI, and saves. = O points
Okay, I thought you got a certain number of points for each HR, RBI, etc., and you just added it up that way.
Actually CF I was a first timer last year in your league and found it confusing that's when I took on the team in the pay league and everything about scoring with that was much easier for me to understand.
You tryin to be a hero fool? You wanna see badass mother fucker?! I'll show ya a badass!!!

The scoring was a little off last year. I fucked it up at the beginning. It's better now
CINCINNATI -- First Joey Votto got his long-term contract, and now it is appears at last to be Brandon Phillips' turn to get his.
According to MLB Network Radio's Jim Bowden, the Reds and Phillips agreed Tuesday to terms on a six-year, $72.5 million contract.
The club has not confirmed the report. However, Phillips certainly seemed to be tipping his hand that he has signed.
"Just got to say, THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME!!!! Looks like y'all might have to deal w/me a little bit longer," Phillips posted on his Twitter feed early Tuesday afternoon.
The 30-year-old Phillips had been playing out the $12.5 million option year on his contract and could have become a free agent after this season. Negotiations had appeared to be stalled after talks about a new contract began in September.
If Phillips has signed, it would be the second time in a week the Reds have locked up a player long-term, following the signing of Votto, the 2010 National League Most Valuable Player, to a 10-year, $225 million extension with a $20 million club option for 2024.
Acquired from Cleveland in an April 2006 for Minor League pitcher Jeff Stevens, Phillips is the longest tenured current Reds position player. He became the 28th player in club history to record 1,000 hits on Sunday against the Marlins. He is batting .267 (4-for-15) in four games this season.
