To say the beginning of the season doesn't matter is stupid. A win in April is a win you won't have to worry as much about come September. Every game matters.

I didn't say it doesn't matter. I said it's not as big of a deal as it seems when the season first starts. The games count no more than any other games. It's actually more advantageous to have a bad losing streak now instead of later in the year because you have 5 months to overcome it.
