I don't get fantasy baseball scoring. Yesterday I was winning 7-1, now I'm losing 2-5.
You may have been winning 7-1 during the day, but the final scoring for the day includes everything that happened including the late games.
The scoring is super easy. Its broken up into 10 categories and it's simple. Whoever gets more home runs for the week gets one point, whoever gets more rbi's gets one point, and so on. If you click on "matchup" you will see who leads in each category after one day.
Right now I am leading in HR, SB, Avg., Era., and Whip. = 5 points
12 points for a home run 6 for doubles 9 for triples 3 for a single 1 for a walk .5 for getting an out defensively 1 for being apart of a double play 2 per strike out 10 points for a win (pitcher) 5 points for quality start ( pitcher)
I'm not sure how much for giving up runs. And they get points for each inning deeper without allowing runs. 3 runs in 6 innings is quality start. There is a lot more scoring but I can't remember it all off the top of my head
You tryin to be a hero fool? You wanna see badass mother fucker?! I'll show ya a badass!!!
Thats probably a points league, not a head to head league. Plus this isn't for money, it's just for fun. Not to mention, too many categories, makes it difficult to gauge where your teams weaknesses are. I was in a league a couple years ago that had like 20 different categories. It was stupid, it was too much.
Isn't head to head when the teams are broken up in divisions and you play a new team each week?
Also negative points for stikeouts and errors
For a yahoo league for no money, there's no need to make it any more complicated than the 10 category head to head league, especially considering there are a few first timers in it.

Oh, and Dan Lebatard straight up compared Castro to Hitler when talking about the issue. <_> Come on now.
