I dunno, sometimes a festival is the best thing on the planet. I like bathing in the awesomeness that is the worldwide metal scene, and I end up doing that much better at a fest than at a club. However, clubs are much more intimate and personal.
Clubs are cool because they are so much more personal, but the big outdoor festivals are a major part of summer time, and because of the hours we drive to go, usually end up with a large group of my closest friends from several different states all camping out together and partying for a couple days in a drunken and drug fueled chaos. I don't give a fuck who is playing on a festival, because the tradition has become more important than who is playing there.

personally I think clubs are better than arenas for a lot of reasons. But arena tours have a lot of cool stuff too: bigger mosh pits, more entertainment, more merch, sometimes more energy. But overall club tours rule
I enjoy my outdoor festivals because we always make a whole day out of it, and usually have a big group. It has nothing to do with the music or intimacy, just the fact that festivals are always a bigger deal in my circle of friends.
Fuck the Nonpoint haters. Sorry but these guys are from my hometown. Gotta support em and i love their music. Live show is also incredible. Trust me, i wish these guys would be second stage so I could be closer, but im happy they are getting noticed.
