it is actually almost amazing how badly they fucked it up. Its like whoever was in charge of the writing/directing the movie, didnt read the books. Like someone just told them what it was about, gave them a list of names, and then said "go at it".

Finished reading:
Great book! Lots of really epic plot twists. I really had no clue where he was going with this until it got there. The reemergence of two older characters (dont want to give it away) was a little corny and the only thing I didnt like that much. I am guessing it will be an important part of the next book I am reading though...
Because sometimes I'm in the mood for different things. Also, reading multiple books is a good skill for my major and is basically required. I rarely read only one book.
Normally, I'm reading at least 2 books at once. One for pleasure, one for school. And reading multiple books doesn't slow my speed, I just spend the same amount for each book, so I'm reading quite a bit more. I've read this way my entire life. Sometimes I get up to 6 books at a time. I never mix them up.

well reading books for a purpose (school/work) shouldnt really count as reading multiple books. anyone whose gone to college has had to do that. I was more or less just talking about reading multiple books for pleasure. I like to read books I can't put down though so i dont ever have the urge to pick up something else until I am finished.
I count it because reading books for school is pleasure for me, clearly since I majored in reading, as my friend says. I choose my classes based on the reading lists. But normally, especially in the summer, I'm reading at least 2-4 books at a time.

true. my school books were boring dry engineering books. Not a lot of fun to read, but when you get the concepts down it is a pretty fun field to be in. very different from your major.
