Alright. I probably won't be on my own laptop for a few hours though. Rosetta Stone doesn't have Finnish or Norwegian, right?

I have no desire to learn Spanish.
my long term goal is to speaking about 12 languages fluently. i doubt I'll get there. I think English and Spanish are probably two of the most useful languages.
Yes, Spanish is useful, but I just don't like the sound of it. I'd like to learn Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, Italian, Russian, Hungarian, and maybe Polish.

I think Spanish can sound very sexy when the right person is speaking it
I'll probably go with Spanish, German, French, Swedish, Japanese, Chinese, Italian, and Russian (in that order).
The only languages I've had lessons in are French (3 1/2 years) and Italian (2 semesters). I know where to get Finnish lessons in NYC. I might sign up for Hungarian or Russian lessons through school.

I got 2 years of french done also! but I barely remember any of it
I am still reading the Ender Game saga. Book 3 right now. its sweet \m/
crazy how different the series is after the first one though.
That, and Card's writing skills got much better after Ender's Game. It's a great story, but his writing is subpar compared to all his other books. I actually prefer Ender's Shadow to Ender's Game because it tells almost the same story, only written better.

interesting. Yeah... Ender's Game was really great, but looking back I felt as if it was pretty shallow in only hitting the surface of some really profound ideas. In Speaker for the Dead, and Xenocide... He really goes much deeper and does a fairly decent job of presenting some of mankinds greatest flaws. In general I love the series. Enders Game was successful in getting me to read more of his work.

last year I started reading this for a while... I got maybe 1/3 of the way though-maybe half and then life got too busy and I never came back. This makes me sad. I want to get through this book. It is so fascinating, but I keep putting it on the back burner because of the subject matter and size of the material. I want to read it badly, but I also want to read fun books that don't require as much thinking about the material.
Yeah, I saw it opening day. It pissed me off. They got so much shit wrong! Eragon and Murtagh are supposed to look alike! That movie just irks the shit out of me.
