Lol so after taxes and insurance, I'm actually going to be netting LESS money at this new job than I was making at the old one. Despite having a "higher" annual salary, I'll be making less overall.
100% not quitting the old job for a few years now, until I start to get good raises.

Yeah I imagine you guys paying out all the flood damage was not good for you. Or did you pull out like other insurance companies before the man made hurricane?

That's weird. Normally you would get licensed in the state you live in, and then apply for a non resident license where you work.
It's not as simple as showing up and passing a test. You should be studying it for probably 30 days at least.
You don't have to be a genius, but they try to trick you with the questions.
Typically you also have to take it with a proxy watching you on Webcam. Depending on state.
But something like 50% of people fail it the first time they take it.
