Yeah, AC/DC would hike the prices. But it would probably be less than 100 bucks a ticket for nosebleed, which is what they wanted for me to see them the past two years they've come here.
And Metallica....I've been dying to see them again ever since they blew me away at the Joe last year.
"They always choose the trendiest bands of the time"
Name one bad band they've toured with on this tour. Gojira, Mastodon, Machine Head, The Sword, Lamb of God, yeah, that's terrible, terrible support......and I wouldn't exactly call Gojira or The Sword trendy.

Hey man, I'm a huge Gojira fan, but since From Mars to Sirius came out...
I didn't mean trendy in sound, I meant trendy in fanbase. When 1/2 of your fanbase doesn't even know your first two albums exist, there's something there...

No, I'm not talking genres either. You forget they toured with Limp Bizkit and Linkin Park during the Nu-Metal rage too. It's just about the current trends in metal, I don't like that. They could have toured with other, better bands, like Pantera, or other 90s bands.
No, I didn't forget. They brought System of a Down and Korn along on the first Summer Sanitarium. I'm not going to defend them on the nu-metal, but they've made good choices since they started this tour.
Well during the height of nu metal, Metallica were not really that metal of a band anymore either. anso, at that time Phil Anselmo wasn't playing so nice with Metallica lol.

But I could only imagine what ticket prices would be <_>
But Metallica on the other hand I would have to go

Back in 06, seats 2 rows behind pit at my venue cost me like 110 so I could bet it'd be higher then that
As for the not enough bands thing, he said there should be more in his post, so this isn't all of em.

Okay, I don't know if I'd go that far, but it wouldn't surprise me as much as everyone else.
