Then don't go. Just because you don't have the cash doesn't mean that the tour can't or shouldn't continue.

i got the money, i mean i'm taking a week off work to see amon amarth twice but w/e that's not the point. a lot of people got a budget and ozzfest waiting is a REALLY REALLY bad business decision. with mayhem, Maiden, and American Carnage people aren't gong to hold out for ozzfest and going to blow their money on the tours already announced and on sale

There are many fans who were disappointed by Mayhem and therefore won't go. If Ozzfest has a shitty lineup, great!, they get to save more money. It's all about lineups, not when they're announced. People will spend money to see bands they want to see.

with the economy being very shitty at the moment. people are going to be picky on what tours they go to and which they don't. unless Ozzfest pulls something out of their ass and makes a line up of all line ups. they are going to fail bad this year.

i understand exactly what shane is saying. Mayhem presale starts april first. Many people (myself included) are waiting to hear the ozzfest lineup before deciding between going to mayhem or ozzfest. If mayhem goes on sale before ozzfest is even announced, alot of people might just say fuck it and get mayhem tickets and skip ozzfest.

you have to factor in that a lot of people are going to buy Maiden tickets as well. that show was announced not long ago and tickets are already going on sale.

shows do sell out (maiden) so people want to buy tickets fast, if it doesn't look like ozzfest has anything good to say them people will say "screw you ozzy I'm buying tickets for other tours"
plus if ozzfest announced earlier people would be able to choose which tours to go to and which not to go to cuz of money: if you're planning on going to 4 festivals this summer, maiden, mayhem, summer slaughter, carnage, then ozzfet can't fit in cuz you have to buy tickets for the other concerts
if ozzfest put the lineup out earlier, they would have a better chance of getting more fans which means more money
