I feel like the more information we get the more likely it will be that if the NBA/NHL want next season to start on time as normal they're going to have to cancel this season. Or have maybe a 4 team playoff, best of 3, at best. NHL training camps start in September, NBA is not that far behind.

Following the wake of Covid-19, the world is left in a state of disarray. Social distancing and self quarantine is the norm. Stores and restaurants have still not reopened. The world's economy has crumbled. The majority of the population now dependant on a corrupt government to provide a semblance of basic income. The entertainment industry no longer exists. Non-essential goods no longer exist. Due to a state of emergency, Trump has declared himself president for life. There is not enough food or medical supplies to go around, and most people cannot afford it anyways. Your dependence check arrives tomorrow, most of which will go to taxes to fund next month's dependence check. The amount you get is getting less and less each month. Small gangs of raiders pop up, fighting for supplies. A rebellion slowly forms, attempting to break free from the dependence on the government, and bring back the old way of life. People sneak off to underground warehouse shows for entertainment. The bands aren't very good, but it's something. The Medical Police raid the party, the band is assasinated and all attendees are arrested. The EARN IT bill was passed. There is no way to speak in confidence. The Medical Police learn of the rebellion through reading the messages of one of the prisoners. The rebellion is raided by Medical Police and all participants are promptly assasinated.
