    Oddly enough, Koi No Yokan is the only Deftones album i enjoy. I don't hate them by any means, just never did anything for me. I've seen them live twice, first time was great, second time was absolutely awful.

    First time was the run they did with Baroness a few years back, second time was their co-headliner w/ Incubus like two years-ish ago. I did go to their tour w/ Rise Against/Thrice, but we left before they played.

    The incubus tour is the one i saw. I thought they were pretty good, but from my memory i was buzzed so i may not have the opinion on it.

    The mixing was definitely part of the issue. His vocals were incredibly whiny and distorted sounding. I also don't like how he will constantly just do high screams over the music when there's no lyrics.

    I saw them in 06 and it was easily the worst live set I have ever seen. It was even worse than FFDP. I also went into the show liking the band and haven’t wanted to listen since
