Saw the Venom trailer. Don't understand what everyone is watching about. Yeah to be honest, it didn't grab me but at the same time they really didn't give us shit to go off of. Don't know how anyone could make the assumption that it's gonna be a bad movie based off the like 20 seconds we got
I mean other than the fact that they are completely changing his origin story and the main character associated with his origin isn't gonna even be in the movie

They should’ve waited til after the infinity stuff wraps to set Venom loose. That could’ve made the Venom origin have a smoother transition from the comic lore to the film. Sony really has a chance to torpedo the MCU with some dumb side films

Not to mention the whole reason Eddie gets involved is because Parker ruins his career.
Deadpool 2 looks good, but Im still not sold on Domino and Cable. I wish they made Cable huge. And I still dont know why they are going Foxy Cleopatra with Domino - though if they go full blaxploitation with it, it could be entertaining.
It was good. I appreciated that while it had humor, it wasnt as overbearing as Thor Ragnarok or Guardians 2. Also was more political than I expected, but was done tactfully and nuanced, which I also thought was cool.

I’m glad I read this. I’ve been kinda afraid all the hype was just a bunch of social justice dick riding because it’s a black superhero
