I think your parents have (and continue to do so) done you a great disservice in life. I honestly believe if you lived a sad lonely life or you killed yourself, I somewhat believe they should feel responsible for that outcome. If you cared about your own mental health, you should work on a plan to move out and cut the cord.

Agreed. I was in the same boat as you, and think it makes you a stronger more confident and independent person. But I’m not sure MC has it in him. His mom is basically still let him suckle off her tit because she has detachment issues. It’s sad really. I know she wants what is best for him, but she’s completely handicapping him
