The Mayans never predicted anything about the world ending. The calendar that relates to December 21, 2012 is just one of many of their calendars and they have many that go well past that date. The Mayans themselves believe people who think the world will end on that date are morons.
"I know in November I'm going to buy a shit load of canned foods, a shotgun, and some bullets. Then I'll just sit at the end of my hallway, waiting." this I'm going to stock up on stuff because people might actually go crazy and if they don't then I have a lot of food
we already have an alternative for oil.... its called THE FUCKING SUN!
Its gonna take until oil "runs out"... which i dont see happening anytime within the next 200 years. Until the government(s) stop whoring themselves to the stupidly rich Oil lobby.
We already have multiple means of "alternative energy".... but oil companies have a bunch of regulations set that doesn't allow for these innovative methods to come to the public.
I'm sure we've all noticed the gas prices creeping back up. Oil companies are fucking crooks. They are raising prices because of "anticipation for higher demand", I think it's bullshit. People simply cannot afford higher gas prices these days.
