Saying everything I've said beforeAll these words they make no senseI find bliss in ignoranceLess I hear the less you'll sayYou'll find that out anyway
Just like before...
[Chorus:]
Everything you say to meTakes me one step closer to the edgeAnd I'm about to breakI need a little room to breatheCause I'm one step closer to the edgeI'm about to break
I find the answers aren't so clear
Wish I could find a way to disappearAll these thoughts they make no senseI find bliss in ignoranceNothing seems to go awayOver and over again
Just like before...
[Chorus]
Everything you say to me
Takes me one step closer to the edgeAnd I'm about to breakI need a little room to breatheCause I'm one step closer to the edgeAnd I'm about to break
Shut up when I'm talking to you
Shut up, shut up, shut upShut up when I'm talking to youShut up, shut up, shut up, shut up
I'm about to BREAK
[Chorus]
Everything you say to me
Takes me one step closer to the edgeAnd I'm about to breakI need a little room to breatheCause I'm one step closer to the edgeAnd I'm about to break
I guess those shitty couple of years where they were popular is gonna keep LP at the top of festival rosters forever now. Mötley Crüe all over again
I've actually been asking everybody about this lately. "Would you say that Linkin Park hit their peak in the early/mid 2000's?" That doesn't seem to be the case. They filled a soccer stadium so much more than I've ever seen it filled before on the last day of a rotr. Blew my mind.
They hit their peak after Meteora. This shouldn't come as any sort of surprise because I;m obviously a fan of nu-metal, but I loved the first two albums. Unless they do a throwback tour, fuck them and even then I wouldn't pay more than like $30. M2M had like 4 decent tracks and it has been garbage ass ever since. I'd say they hit their peak in like 2004. Hybrid Theory used to be my shit.
I guess. I can't remember the last time I actually listened to them at all though. Once a band sells out, I find it hard to listen to their old shit knowing who they become. Same reason I can't listen really listen to In This Moment anymore lol
Honestly, the only album I can't really listen to in full from LOG is Resolution. Everything else isn't as bad as everyone says or at least has a few good tunes.
