i can't wear earplugs, or earbuds. They both raise hell with my inner ear issues, cause me to get migraines.....

I'm 19 and I have hardcore tinnitus. I have it for a couple different reasons according to my doctor. Cutting caffeine helped a ton...like if I drink a lot of pop it'll really come back hard for awhile. It's still pretty constant regardless. If the tv is too quite the tinnitus will over power it. I can't sleep without music or the tv on. Even if the tv is on, laying on the pillow is annoying unless I find a way to block it out. Apparently I have a fluid imbalance or some shit that along with making me dizzy will really increase my chances of hearing loss/deafness when I'm older if I don't take care of myself. So even if wearing earplugs was optional for me, that'd make me wear them lol

Sorry bout your luck. This shit really sucks. I have it on and off again. Mostly on though for instance..yesterday...I really didn't ring all day until night time and that was the first break I had from the ringing for the last 3 weeks. Before that I went four days without ringing..I thought I had beat it. I was wrong. Ginko Biloba helps a little I think..helped my memory..that's for sure.

That guy was me back in the day. Now I pay. I'm such an asshole. My mother told me I was gonna hurt my ears and I did. Good for you guys for protecting yourselves. It's not worth it.
