Just about finished with my first Book Burner playthrough. Needs more listens, but I think I still like Phantom Limb more, although this is definitely a great release.
I contemplated buying it yesterday but after a full listen I kinda got uninterested around the last third of it. I don't like how there's constant double bass in some of the groove sections, it's kind of annoying

I thought the groove sections were a bit too prevalent, but I can see the shift they're going for, or at least for this record.
The end groove of Burning Palm is one of the best I've ever heard, but it feels like it's just thrown in after a Discordance Axis-esque chaotic grind song

If you want something that's pretty well produced, but still has their honest sound, I say Terrifyer or Phantom.
