Id argue guilt is more synonymous with shame in terms of emotion. From there I'd then argue shame and embarrassment aren't always mutually exclusive and interchangeable.
Before this becomes a discussion of what is guilt, my underlying point of "Guilty Pleasure" is it's a poor mans expression to describe something that deviates from ones norms to me.
I see FFs point. Letlive actually isn't bad compared to a lot of their "post-hardcore" brethren. It's just that the genre sucks for the most part, and throwing Senses Fail and Underoath into that pot is including the shit with the shinola afaic. Putting them in the same room as ATDI is specifically insulting. The problem in what I've heard from letlive is that they ape the better end of that spectrum more than they have an original voice. I hear a lot of Refused, some Glassjaw, some ETID along with a dash of Deftones and SOAD. Not terrible, but not all that original either.
