Damn dude. Its not as good as Frontier but still some impressive work. At first, I felt the same though. This album is definitely a grower. The more you listen the better it gets. Empire of the Clouds is a beautiful piece of fucking work man. Honestly, only song I couldn't really dig was Tears of a Clown. Frontier definitely had stronger vocal work overall, but the instrumentals on Book of Souls were flawless.
