hmmm.... I'm not sure if you will like it. I don't see a pattern to your music selection. You'll have to make the call based on my review. It is a pretty \m/ album though.
i'll check it out. and i dont think i would mind the comedy in the songs cause i love swashbuckle and their songs are all about pirates lol. the first time i heard their first album i was laughing and headbanging at the same time lol.

Good point. Well let me know what you think after you listen. I think it is one of the few albums I loved on first listen.

Well I for sure wont be recommending you music in the future because like I said, I really can't see any real pattern to your music listening. :-D Not that there isnt a pattern, we just don't like the same tunez.
There are some bands you listed that I like, but my list of bands wouldnt have looked like yours.
parts of those songs reminded me of a mellower Children of Bodom, other parts reminded me of a band from like the 90's but i cant remember who, project 86? primer 55? incubus? and other parts were flat out progressive metal.

For sure... that album is total Progressive Metal. Sorry if I misrepresented it as something else. I asked for the more extreme bands, because I didnt want you listing stuff like The Beatles, The Doors, Led Zeppelin. That wouldnt have told me anything about your musical tastes.
I wasnt saying that your musical tastes are necessarily bad, I was only saying it is very different from me and so I couldnt tell if you were going to like the album. If you had asked me that question I would have said
Death, Bloodbath, Pantera, Bolt Thrower, Carcass, At The Gates, Morbid Angel, Cryptopsy, Aborted, Cephalic Carnage, Necrophagist, Obituary, Devin Townsend, Gojira, In Mourning, lamb Of God, Opeth, Origin, Spawn Of Possession, Suffocation, Ayreon, Atheist, Metallica, Meshuggah
This isnt a list of everything I like, just a sample of some of the bands that stand out more then others off the top of my head.

EDIT: a couple songs sounded ok but the other songs were pretty soft
