That doesnt really tell me much... Give me the names of some of your favorite bands. limit them to the more extreme stuff... death metal, melo, deathcore, thrash, groove, etc.
I probably hate half of all DM bands, yet DM is my favorite genre.

Here... let me just review Ziltoid the Omniscient for you and you can decide if you like it.
The album is a concept album, and is meant to be comical (you will laugh) but also very series in that the tunez really rock. You'd think if an album was comical, then it would be all goofy and not have lasting effect. That isnt the case here. In between each song there is this story playing out, and then the songs take off from the story.
The story is about this alien Ziltoid that comes to earth and makes the demand for earth to provide them "the ultimate cup of coffee. You've got 5 earth minutes. make it perfect". Needless to say, Ziltoid is not pleased with the cup of coffee earth provided him and so he sets out to exterminate all of humanity for giving him such a retched cup of Joe. This is all I will tell you about the story... a nice intro.
You will love this album if you like comedy and are a little nerdy. It sounds a little like Gojira (you know them right?). The lyrics are very easy to understand and the tunez rock pretty hard.
