Did you already buy it? Personally I decided that the B&N version of Amazon's e-readers are better. For every single Kindle, there is an B&N version that is
1. Exactly the same hardware specification wise (same damn thing) 2. Is slightly less (this is sorta a don't care) 3. *Most Importantly* Supports the industry standard e-pub format instead of amazon's fucked mobi format.
#3 is the kindle killer for me. Every e-reader out there supports e-pub EXCEPT kindle. And no reader besides kindle supports Mobi.
This is like when itunes first came out and apple tossed around not support mp3 and wanted to instead opt for AC3. Everyone else is doing Mp3's but Apple wants to try and get people to switch to AC3. Fuck that. Im glad Apple wised up and never fully went down that route.
I wouldnt be making this post if Amazon support epub. Im fine with them having their own lame ass format, but you gotta support the most common fucking format.

you're dreaming if you want either the Nook or Kindle to play videos. Both support like 1 maybe two different video formats, but I guarantee it is no format you are downloading. I think both support Mp4. Here's a lame video below showing the Nook color playing videos. If you really want video support, your best bet is to root the device and install your own unrestricted version of Android on it. Dont ask me how to do that, i dont know. But Would guess B&N would be easier since it has been out longer.
