My only complaint about the series so far is the action sequences are so short and uninpressive for the most part. The only one so far that's had the tension of the game is the shootout after the truck ambush
After decades of watching Power Rangers on and off, I decided to start Sentai, starting with the newest series Donbrothers. I only watched one episode, but I feel a little lost. But everyone says Sentai is all standalone aside from one crossover episode a season, so I dont need to watch anything else first.
So THAT was the worst episode and episode 3 was the best and a masterpiece??
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yea remind me to never take yall opinions seriously ever again lmfao.
The roughly 30-40 minute side plots did very different things with their time. One showed a timeline of how 2 people chose to live and adapt through the apocalypse. It compared and contrasted how Joel lived shut off from everyone else for 20 years after his daughters death, and how other pocket groups of people have been surviving. Some choose isolation, some choose violence and fear, some choose love. This story was wide open and anything could have happened.
The other was 30 minutes of akward teen sexual tension that only really needed to be 10 at most and the very tired tropes of people forgetting they live in the fucking apocalypse because they find a shiny relic of the past. We know she gets bitten, and having to commit violence against her friend was already previously implied, the tension wasn’t there because we more or less knew what was coming. They’re loud and distracted. Hey look there is a hidden infected. And now they got bit. Big shocker.
For me, the best tv shows have me hanging on every word of dialogue and soaking in every piece of scenery just waiting for shit to go down (peak GOT, Breaking Bad, The Wire, early Lost, Heroes season 1 etc) and while most episode of this show have had that effect on me, this one did not.
Bruh how lmao that was like the biggest part of the game other than the actual ending and was one of the only actual boss fights of the game. Had prolly the most post game discussion too since it was insinuated he was bout to rape her.
Actual best episode of the season tho. Physically, Ellie STILL throws me off, but she sold that wit such conviction in that final scene. Hell of an actress, for sure.
Lmfao of course the finale gets rushed and the season ends wit the irrelevant side character’s pointless relationship getting the longest episode.
Finale was decent and show overall was pretty well done for what it is but gah damn yall overly cocksucked the SHIT outta this one. 6.5 or 7/10 at best.
Who tf is y’all? Jake and Rex? Most of us just took it at an episode by episode basis. You’ve been riled up since the 3rd episode. It seems like that one really touched a nerve with you.
“Greatest thing on television” and “masterpiece have been echoed in here repeatedly. That and the fact Jake laced up his boots any time I said literally anything other than the show being perfect lmao.

Lemme get this over wit. 🥱
