.....you guys may be right....the 'rock' station in my town is fucking pathetic....and as a rule, I mostly flat refuse to listen to radio....so much cookiecutter garbage, in all genres, not just hard rock.....

I have the same issue, I used to have this badass rock station down in Corpus Christi, but I live in Austin now and don't even listen to the Rock Stations(which are in San Antonio), I switch between a local alternative station and this other station which plays literally everything that ever hit a pop chart.
