^ FAIL, lol cmon mannnnnnn. you really think they go by the alphabet, man i'd hate to be tied for the 8th seed at the end of the year but some team whos name starts before P gets in lol. since the flyers and caps played twice and both games went into OT with the Flyers winning one, and the Caps winning one, it goes by goals scored. B-)
it goes by most goals. i know i'm right. if 2 teams are tied for the final playoff spot in points at the end of the regular season, do you ever see a one game playoff to determine who gets in? the answer is no because they go by statistics, an example being one team beat the other more times, but since the flyers and caps both have the exact amount of points off eachother, it goes by goals. deal with it.... B-)
