i think theyre dumb for giving kovy a contract like that after all he did was come to the team and fuck up the chemistry. the devils were on a role and when he was aquired, they folded especially in the playoffs, i thought they would take it to the flyers, but the flyers spanked them. kovy wasnt a factor. it's early in the year though, they have alot of time to gel. hopefully that doesnt happen.....

Briere had a conference call with the NHL's disciplinary committee Monday.
He will miss Monday's game against Carolina Hurricanes, Thursday's game against the New York Rangers and Saturday's game against the Islanders.
Briere's crosscheck of Nielsen with one minute left Saturday sparked the final melee in a fight-filled game.
