Yeah, its just about pointless this far along, but I just wanted to attend another game if my kid makes it into the state tourney again this year. I don't care about the business end of it as much as the game itself, I just want to watch some hockey.

That would absolutely kill whatever relevance the sport has remaining. You can't scrap two full seasons in nine years and recover from that. The NBA shortened their season last year and the NHL did a similar thing in 1994-95.
