I really want to go to the Hawks/Red Wings game on my birthday. But I've never been to a NHL game and if I get a seat, I go alone. Otherwise, I get standing room.

first red wings game I ever went to was against the hawks... we shit on them :P
you should definitely get your ass to a game though. they're so fun.
I most definitely will this season. This may just be an exceptionally tough game to get into...because not only is it the Hawks/Wings but it's on a Sunday too.
Hopefully I can get to a game this year. I want to see them play in Joe Louis before they have to GTFO and I want to see Lidstrom play live before he hangs it up.
mayhemz trip to game? :>
i could make the trip to if yall do it on a weekend and what not
It's not just hockey, it's every single professional sport I watch. Preseason is just glorified scrimmages where some of the best players don't even play. It bothers me to no end that they even charge people for tickets to it lol.
K. My list is basically any Saturday game, and 1 Sunday early afternoon game.
Sat Nov 12 vs. Stars Sat Nov 26 vs. Predators Sat Dec 10 vs. Jets Sat Dec 17 vs. Kings Sat Dec 31 vs. Blues Sat Jan 14 vs. Hawks Sat Jan 21 vs. Blue Jackets Sat Feb 25 vs. Avalanche Sat Mar 24 vs. Hurricanes Sat Apr 7 vs. Hawks

I just went through the schedule and looked at every home game on a weekend. These are the ones I don't have conflicts with as of right now.

hockey is hockey. it's fun to watch.
Not when the best players aren't playing and you have to pay for it. The games are more for younger players who are trying to make the regular season roster. It's a scrimmage. I'd rather just go all out and spend more on a game where everyone is playing and it means something, especially since I know my next game at the Joe might be my last.....

It will also sell the quickest, because it is a rivalry game.....
I know. -_-
I just looked at the tickets...you have WAY more openings for your home game w/ the Hawks than we have with our home game with the Wings. With the exception of standing room, the United Center is damn near completely sold out.
well i guess thats not too bad, its damn near impossible to get leaf tickets in canada but i hate the leafs anyways and last year when i priced out tickets to an ottawa colorado game it was going to cost me 160 for the cheapest available

I can't stand preseason, but this goal was cool.

It will be a win win for everyone involved.
i'd love to go to this game, but i'd probably regret wearing a avs jersey to it.
