I'm glad they're not going back to ESPN. ESPN sucks. Just because they would have had broadcasting rights for the NHL does not mean they would respect it, or give it more time on Sportscenter.
Besides, I'd rather have Keith Jones/Brian Engblom over Matthew Barnaby anyday.

well they used to, when they had it before. Plus they have more channels so they can show more games at once, like they used to during the playoffs
Well rumor has it that Versus is going to undergo a complete restructure of the channel to become an actual sports channel. And if this works out the way I'd hope, hopefully they will show games on NBC, Versus, and say Universal as well.
that's what I'd hope for at least. I'm sure we will find out at 1pm how this works out.
All i know is that NBC outbid ESPN. So I'm NBC/Comcast is going to do the absolute best they can in broadcasting the NHL nationally for the next 10 years
I don't think it's a matter of playing cocky. It's natural to let down with a 3-0 series lead, and Phoenix may not have a team after this year, so they'll play the game of their lives tomorrow.
They don't have an owner. For the past year the league has had ownership of the team. About 15 years ago, that franchise was known as the Winnipeg Jets and then relocated to Phoenix. Right now, no one is stepping up to buy the Coyotes to keep them in Glendale, so there's a strong possibility a buyer will move them back to Winnipeg.
