I gotta say in Tavaris defense... Brad Childress might be one of the all time worst NFL coaches. So it does jive with Tavaris being screwed in Minn. I agree, I havent seen anything in Tavaris to get excited about, but it could be a result of Childress.

Ray Rice fantasy value goes down with the signing of Ricky Williams
hes still as high as number 2 on many lists....dude catches the ball out of the backfield that is a huge asset
yeah. I am not sure how much his value goes down... I'm not sure how high I'd rank Rice. Honestly I am not all that happy with the choices at RB these days. the RBC has kinda destroyed fantasy value and it seems like hardly anyone is a sure bet anymore. Elite RB? Not sure it exists.
id say safe choices to produce most weeks are rice, AP, chris johnson if he is signed, and foster has to prove last year was not a fluke...but if he can do that he will be mixed it with them
peyton hillis im going to try and stay away from him because he just plays so physical its only a matter of time before he is dinged up and misses time
Deanglo williams and jonathon stewart are to guys that if you pick the right timing to have one or the other in that will give you some solid weeks
jahvid best is a guy that might not always get you great value as far as rushing yards...but he will catch the ball and he will get in the end zone if he stays healthy
felix jones is also a guy along the lines of best who will also add points on special teams
the things with running backs you don't get in the first 2-3 rounds is you have to find guys that will contribute in other ways then just getting the ball handed to them in the back field

my thoughts on the players you named...
Rice - don't like the rbc, but I still like rice. he is pretty high on my list and depending my draft order I'll probably get him in a few leagues.
AP - love the dude. Hate Minnesota. I wont get him because I am not willing to spend the first 3 picks to get him. He is overrated because of the chaos of the team.
chris johnson - like him but 2009 was a fluke year that gave him those stats cause his line was doing so much work for him. Johnson is a 1300 yard 10 TD guy. Is that worth a top 3 pick? Im not so sure.
foster - something tells me to be wary. I keep hearing fluke, but I also would probably draft him.
Hillis is rbc now.... and like you said he is too dangerous in his style to play a whole season. injury waiting to happen.
either of the CAR RBs - not thanks. see last year. nothing has changed.

No Darren McFadden? The dude was a points machine last year.
he didn't cross my mind at the time...he was a points machine last year...i still would not pick him to high tho....it was one year...i like track record
if you can get him some where in rounds 3-6 id say that is a very good pick tho...hes someone on my radar that if i can get the right value for him i will take

like i said with the carolina guys , you have to have the right timing as far as when to start these guys but they have the skill set to have a big week here or there....they have value later on in the draft but they will be gone because some people value them to high
also i forgot the guys name from tampa but i picked him up in free agency last year and he was a stud....he will also be a good mid round pick

those dudes were traded for one another last year
