yeah i figured calvin...it seems to me like he likes it here tho and we could get a long term deal done...and as far as tulloch i think a lot depends on this year
yeah im not at all excited to hear about that...but other then our Right tackle its really the only serious injury we have had in camp so far *knocks on wood*

You used to read all the time about Johnson being unhappy with the losing culture in Detroit. They'd have to show him that they're on the upswing in order for him to not want to test free agency. Unless what I read was wrong, obviously.
Aldon Smith is healthy and kickin' in camp, don't know what you're talking about. However, rising safety Reggie Smith has gone down with a mystery injury in the last few hours, and we're curious to see how serious his injury is.
Also, Dashon Goldson came crawling back to the 49ers today and agreed for 4 million dollars a year fewer than he was initially offered.
oh nvm lol...i read the article wrong...it was saying that leshoure was the second player to go down with an Achilles injury....and that curtis holcomb was the first...i some how read it was the first round pick lol....turns out he was the 7th
and iv read and see johnson say that he doesn't like that the lions have a losing history...but iv never really seen anything that he's said he wants out...all hes ever said is that he wants to be a part of it when they turn it around

Yeah, Holcolmb isn't a big loss, but the dude was good. His tape was a lot better than where he was drafted, but he had no chance of getting into the starting lineup in the next few years.
Also, as for Barber, the team that gets him deserves the production he will give them.
My final prediction for Barber at the end of the year...
his last season he had like 1600 yards...while that was like 4 years ago, it wouldn't cost us much to take a small chance on the guy...but options like jerome harrison ect. are probably more likely....to bad this didn't happen b4 ricky signed in Baltimore.....he is the style of back we need
I don't want Tiki Barber. I hate his attitude. I'd rather bring back Kevin Smith. We had a decent running game with just Maurice Morris last year. Losing LeShoure sucks, but we'll manage. I'm far more concerned with Cherilus, Fox, and Backus getting healthy.
Oh, and Calvin isn't going anywhere even if he wanted to, there's a little thing called the franchise tag......
cherilus is starting to practice again....and backus is going to be healthy for the start of the regular season....smith is out of the question...he has proved he does not run hard and punish people and that is what we are looking for...smith will not be back
he knows the offense but he can't play effectively in it...even kowalskie said he is no where in the consideration...we might even just go with ian johnson

I feel like such a homer. When I made my playoff predictions, I excluded the seahawks because 1. I didnt want to be a biased homer of a fan and 2. this should be a rebuilding year....
But then I keep watching videos of Sidney Rice, and Pete Carroll, and the Hawks GM... and I hear stuff like
GM : : “He’s 28 years old, and quite frankly was shit on for four years.”
and
Pete : “He’s been jerked around. We wanted to put him in a stable situation.”
and
rice : “I feel comfortable with T-Jack. A lot of people don’t see why. But I feel like he has a hidden talent that he was never able to let loose.”
And Rice said a lot more... talking about how the Hawks new offensive coordinator spent the last 5 years in Minn so T-jack and Rice know the play book.
And everyone is talking about how the Seahawks are going to be way better THIS year then they were last year. And... I start getting excited. and thinking the seahawks are totally going to make the play offs again... and who knows, maybe they will get lucky and make the bowl. I'm trying to not get excited, but it is kinda hard not do.
