I find it funny people think Vick will have the same if not better year then he had last year. He won't not even close. The reason he was so good is no team knew what they were in for since he was gone for so long. After the months went by he went from amazing to meh because teams knew how to stop him. example? The Bears. They exposed him for the whole NFL and that opened the flood gates for team D's.

You have to understand what last year was.

Defenses did not understand how to combat Vick. They will this year.
What does defense have to do with being an incredibly accurate passer? Nothing! Phily has a great WR corp that can go up and get the ball, except they dont need to because Vick puts it right on the money.... So what... Defenses will be better at stopping his run when they blitz him? Doubt it, but maybe... and so what? That is like 15% of his game. His real damage is his very accurate passing, which is shocking because it is something he NEVER did in Atlanta.

what doesnt anyone get that 4 out of their 5 starters on Oline last year were out with injuries halfway through the season, they were down to 2nd and 3rd stringers <_>

plus they also have a really good running back who is only going to get better along with those young recievers, youz are fooling yourselves. [-X

I thought you would have learned by now that the Eagles could have the best RB in the NFL and he still wouldn't be used lol.

vick was really good for what 10-12 games last year? and you expect his accuracy to stay the same? i expect him to be somewhere between last year and his average of 50% completion percentage he has carried his whole career

    HE HAD NO OFFENSIVE LINE.

You take away Brady or Manning's O line and theyre done. With Vick's running ability it helped us. When he had a healthy O line earlier in the season, he was pin-point accurate. The Eagles have great recievers, Vick will have an outstanding year.

jackson while a great all around football players and great with the ball in his hands is not a great wide receiver...he only caught something like 48 balls last year....that is not enough to be considered an elite guy

also you can't use the excuse of "oh our line was hurt" i do not believe the line in front of him will not have a big impact on his play as he can get out of trouble with his feet...i just don't think will be able to put up completion numbers like he did last year...especially when his whole career he has been around 50 %

i know first hand what it's like to depend on mike vick. didn't work out too well.

i hope the falcons get charles johnson instead of ray edwards.

Vick is alot different then when he was with the Falcons...

and Rex<_> ...Jackson is a superstar. nd not having an O line is not an excuse, its a fact. and their Offense was still good btw. it was the D that lost it for them.

Then the same thing can be said for Romo. He is a top 10 QB and can put out some great numbers and can pass with great accuracy. He has done shit because our oline has been shit and hurt.

AND THE LOCK OUT IS OVER!!!!!!!!!!! NFL IS BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

jackson, while very dangerous is not a superstar....you can't be at the tops of you position when you only catch 50 balls

    top wide outs

calvin johnson, andre johnson, Larry fitzgerald, Reggie wayne, roddy white, Brandon llyod, greg jennings, mike wallace...all guys that are better more reliable options at wide out...hell the guy hasn't even had a 10 touchdown season yet...while yes he is very scary when he has the ball, he is not in the elite when it comes to him solely playing the wide out position

and the lock out is not over....the NFLPA reps voted and approved it 32-0 but all the players still have to vote....which they will approve most likely...but we still have to wait on that...but yeah its pretty much over

The executive board and the player reps voted unanimously meaning the lockout is indeed over.
