I have no worries. Now that we have a line that can hold up Romo will be back in form.
It only takes one play.
Believe me.
I know. I will be worried all season haha. I just hope Romo has the instinct to just fall to the floor when he is about to get fucked up so he can avoid injury.
The Cowboys still have Oline problems. Doug Free(which they need to resign) and Kyle Kosier are free agents and they are depending on a rookie to start at left tackle.
Romo isn't really an injury prone player but when he does get banged up he isn't the toughest QB.
Vick last year developed into a pocket passer and he was tearing it up in the beginning of the year. THe was pass first run 2nds. by the 2nd half of the year our already half shitty offensive line was all down to backups. Our O-line needs to be fucking healthy cause vick was throwing bombs down the field with pin point accuracy when he was given protection. They just need to get better on Oline. and stay healthy. Jackson and Peters should be back. they need to protect his blindside and get justice the fuck out of there. But I think the least of their worries is offens, they will score 20+ every game, they really need help on D. Allen and Graham coming back healthy should be a boost, and hopefully they can score a decent freeagent for the secondary. Tehy will win the East again. We'll see from there, Vick needs to learn to slide.
I think he does without a doubt. With the recievers they got and a good young running game, vick will have a great year. He's in his prime and I think they have the best O in the NFC if they remain healthy. This is the year :-$
Lol... Reid will eventually win. People said the same about cowher and he won the bowl, they have a young talented team that was unstopable when healthy last year. Vick is everything Reid wanted McNabb to be. Vick will have an excellent year this season, no doubt in my mind. Pass first and he has great accuracy. This is the season to watch the Eagles. :-$
This is the most I've been excited for a season in a while. I really think they have a great team that will compete and win alot of games and has alot of potential. I can't wait for september \m/

I have a ton of respect for Reid as a coach, and I believe that their postseason shortcomings are nothing but the fault of his players. He's a great coaching mind.
You are assuming everything involved with Vick stays the same, which it won't be. Defenses will not play him or that offense the same way as they did last year. Also, Vick is nothing like McNabb ever has been. McNabb was never supposed to be that kind of QB. Not for a second. I don't trust Vick for a second to be anything other than ATL level Vick in the long term, and I think it's a mistake for the Eagles organization to do that. Just like CJ dropping 700 yards, Vick will underperform.
Reid needs to make sure to run the ball enough to spell Vick. He's always had a nasty habit of ignoring the run when push comes to shove, but he's got a good running back to use.
There is a huge difference in vick from when he was in atl. He passes first now, then only takes off when the pocket breaks. With a healthy Oline, it won't matter if he doest run, theu have great recievers who will get open. And vick has been so accurate. Back from 99-03 mcnabb was a scrambling qb, then hurt his leg and then became a pocket pAsser and run only if needed. Mcnabb just had horrible accuracy, he was very inconsistent with that. I just think vick's speed and accuracy are what make him the better qb. The Eagles will be one of the top teams this yuear and will without a doubt win the NFCeast. After that depends on health.

If Vick puts up an 80+ passer rating this year, I will gladly eat crow over it.
I do not believe he does, though.
You are going to be eating crow...
Like George said... Vick was a spot on dangerous pass-first QB last year. His form, and arm strength was all there and he is easily the best QB in the NFC. With his running dimension, I think that makes him the most dangerous QB in the NFL. 3 out of every 4 downs he will pass on you, and it will be right on the money.... and if you try to blitz? no problem.... he takes off and burns you for 20 on the ground.
According to the projected timeline, the new league year will officially start on Aug. 2 at 4 p.m. ET.
Before that:
• Teams can sign their own free agents and begin talking with other unrestricted free agents Monday afternoon.
• Teams can begin signing unrestricted free agents Tuesday at noon ET but those contracts would not take effect until Aug. 2.
• Teams can begin talking trades Monday afternoon. Any trades would become official on Saturday, July 30.
Players would begin to report to their teams on a staggered scheduled. Another league source said it was unclear what teams would be allowed to do between the opening of camps and Aug. 2, when the league year officially begins.
According to the proposed timeline, 10 teams would report on Wednesday, 10 more on Thursday and 10 additional teams on Friday. The New York Jets and Houston Texans would be the last two teams to report, on Sunday.
The report dates would be back-timed to 14 days before teams play their first preseason games.
The NFL Players Association and the league's owners reached agreement on the remaining points needed in their 10-year labor deal this past weekend, sources from both sides said.
The NFLPA is making plans for a major press conference Monday. The NFLPA executive committee will begin meeting at 11 a.m. ET on Monday.
Following that, a recommendation has to be made by the 32 player representatives, likely via conference call. As of late Saturday night, no time had been set for that vote, but it is expected to occur Monday after the executive committee votes to recommend approval, according to the high-ranking official.
Despite the fact the new agreement will require a majority vote from the players, that part of the deal between the two sides is considered a formality, according to sources.
The executive committee is also expected to vote to recommend recertifying itself as a union, according to the source. A recommendation also has to be made by the 32 player representatives on that count.
Major breakthroughs in Saturday discussions set up the timetable for the resolution to the 130-day lockout.

You have to understand what last year was.
Defenses did not understand how to combat Vick. They will this year.

Believe me.
He hasn't been the same fan since then. NBD though, I can carry the family 49er fan torch.

If Vick has the year last year, the Eagles are prime contenders. Vick won't have a year like he had last year.
