Da'Quan Bowers scares me. I know Cliff Avril is a free agent, but I'd rather stick with him than waste a first-rounder on Bowers.
He scares me too, but I wouldn't be surprised if Schwartz is salivating over the possibility of having Vanden Bosch, Suh and Bowers all on the same line. Again, I don't think Schwartz is stupid, but he could prove me wrong on Thursday.
The fuck would they move up to get Ingram? Best>Ingram
cause it would give them the best one two punch in the league at back.
I'm not sure it would, and that would be a luxury pick for sure. The Lions don't need that pick until they're comfortable with depth at all other positions.
really? cause he made a lot of moves in free agency to improve our team last year...and even trades....i think he's prepared to do what ever it takes
I said I think he would make the necessary trades and moves in free agency to fit his needs.
dude read what i said....i said if they feel like they fill a big need at 13....that could easily be an OT....refrain from claming derp if you have derped yourself
I'm just crossing my fingers that either A) Bowers is gone by that point or Amukamara is still there and at that point, the Lions would have no choice but to take him. I heard someone bring up Corey Liuget as a possibility today....I facepalmed hard. <_>

I think the Lions are in a great position to not get cute, which is something I like. They're at the premier place to take an OT without reaching (looking at you, Jerry Jones) and get some awesome value at a place of need.

nvm.
Whatever you said couldn't have been worse than you retracting it and putting nvm in it's place. Speak up, we don't have much to discuss until Wednesday, when rumors with some validity start to pour out.

I was pointing something out, and by the time my post showed up it had already been addressed.

Ah, I love how the draft is the night after I take my last exam.
I told my swim coach I won't be in practice on Thursday and when she asked why I said that I had a contractual obligation that I couldn't discuss with her. I'm surprised that I haven't gotten more shit about it.
Judge Nelson rules for players, lockout to be lifted
Judge Susan Nelson Monday granted the plaintiffs' request for an injunction to lift the NFL lockout.
But perhaps the biggest development is that Nelson has decided not to stay the decision, which could force the league to open for business immediately. The NFL now must seek a stay with the Eighth Circuit, where the appeal would be heard, in order to prevent a potentially chaotic beginning to the 2011 league year.
Nelson's decision in the Brady et al v. National Football League et al case comes on the heels of the mediation she appointed going into a nearly-month long recess, with U.S. Magistrate Judge Arthur Boylan making the decision last Wednesday to adjourn the session until May 16.
The league will likely appeal Nelson's decision swiftly, wanting to avoid the beginning of free agency and offseason programs with the potential that, if the Eighth Circuit rules in its favor, the lockout could be reinstituted in the coming weeks or months.

A few things that have happened this week...
Marcus Cannon was found to be diagnosed with non-Hodgkin Lymphoma, and his chances of survival are over 90%. He'll probably drop a lot in the draft, but I think he should be drafted no later than the fifth or sixth round. He's a good kid and a great ballplayer. He shouldn't lose his shot at the NFL because of this.
Justin Houston and Christian Ballard tested positive for marijuana at the NFL combine.
First two picks are near locks, and I'd be shocked to see Buffalo not draft Von Miller. Tomorrow will be fun.
