Better then Suh?
Not even close. He won't have near the impact that Suh had as a rookie and his ceiling isn't as high. Over the next 4 or 5 years, DT will be the most overdrafted position all because of Suh.
:-? You really think the Panthers would pick Peterson #1 overall?
No, that's my ranking for potential 49ers players, not what I think is going to happen. The Panthers should take Peterson, but they won't. When you're as bad as the Panthers, you don't take players like Newton. However, you don't get the first overall pick by being a smart franchise.
Boy, this kid is really good. Watch the last two minutes for some solid solid solid DE play. Could be one of the better late round picks in the draft. I wouldn't let this kid get past the 5th.
There's a rumor that Detroit is going to trade up to the top 5 to draft Peterson. It won't happen, but if the opportunity presents itself I would definitely do it. Otherwise I'd be happy with Costanzo or Carimi.

Detroit doesn't really have the ammunition or the need to do something like that. They're a top flight LT from being a wild card contender, if you ask me. Sit at 13, get Amukamara or go ahead and reach a little bit for Castonzo. It's worth it. If you get Castonzo, there is a TON of CB value in the second round, and if you go Amukamara, you just got your CB value in the first round. I'd then take a small reach on a guy like Orlando Franklin in the 2nd.
I'd be too comfortable at 13 to trade up if I were Detroit. A trade up of that size would also require 2012 picks, which should be a big no no this year.
iv always heard things about the lions if they feel like they have filled a huge hole in the franchise at 13...they may get greedy and try and move up for ingram

They're not moving up in the first round for someone like him.....

I would cry tears of joy if Amukamara fell to us. I cannot see it though, and I'm concerned that we won't take a OT if that were the case.
Schwartz isn't stupid. He knows that his job depends on Matthew Stafford being healthy, and that means finding a franchise left tackle. If he saw extraordinary value at another position at 13 (I hope for your sake that some other fools pick DaQuan Bowers), he would not be stupid enough to leave day 2 without a LT.
If not, I'm sure he's ballsy enough to make a move in FA.
There is no time to ever get greedy in the draft. Never. Some teams get a little cute and make big mistakes. CJ Spiller going to the Bills comes to mind. Even if he has a great year next year, there's no mistaking that he was not the right pick for them that year.

im saying in the mid to late first round after they pick at 13
The fuck would they move up to get Ingram? Best>Ingram
cause it would give them the best one two punch in the league at back

really? cause he made a lot of moves in free agency to improve our team last year...and even trades....i think he's prepared to do what ever it takes

I hope the Cowboys go Oline or DB with the first pick.
:-)) not a chance
