Wilson has more help on that team than Luck or RG3 do on their teams. I still think the award goes to Luck. I don't think the playoffs are taken into account anyway.

Wilson had more games with a 100+ passer rating then either Luck or RG3. That has to count for something
If I was being unbiased I'd give it to RG3. He only had a couple less 100+ passer rating games than Wilson, he holds the NFL Rushing Record for Rookie QBs, and is a magician with his handoff.
What has luck done? Rookie passing record for a game and a season? *shrug*.
Personally I think Wilson has had a much better season than Luck.
In the interest of full disclosure, I did grow up watching Aaron Rodgers rape everyone at Cal, but bias goes both ways. But in the same way, I have the connection to the Bay Area of Tom Brady. I want to root for both of them. I hate Patriots fans, so I want them to lose, but Tom Brady is the man, let's not fool ourselves.
Aaron Rodgers needs more than another ring, I think he needs at least two more, as Rex said, but no one will ever be Montana in the playoffs again. I think Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady are the two closest things to Joe Montana that have existed since, and I think they both become the #2 and #3, in whatever order that is. I think it's going to be a discussion, however.

Can't help but note that Wilson is the last rookie QB still in the playoffs. Seems that should be a factor in Rookie of the year voting

He took a team that goes 4-12 with any other QB and made them an 11-5 wildcard winner.
you mean like tom brady?
Does it count as one of my absurd beliefs in all time lists if I think that Aaron Rodgers will go down as a better QB than Tom Brady?
But honestly, if he puts up 5 years at a pace like this, he's in the conversation. Sorry.
Fuck Packers
