Cubs will win a world series before Raiders win a SB

big difference figuring the Raiders have won 2 SB's in my lifetime. granted they were back in the 80's. Cubs haven't won anything in a long long time....

I just heard that Rex Ryan is interested in bringing Norv Turner in to be the Jets offensive coordinator. I literally busted out laughing. My coworker came over asking what was up. I told him and he was laughing so hard he was crying.

Jesus christ the Jets are a bunch of clowns.

You do know Turner is a beast of a OC but shitty as head coach right?

He never was a good HC to begin with and always shined when he was a OC. Idk what was up this year though. I don't think the players the Jets have will help either lol. Come back to Dallas and win us more championship again [-O<

Turner has a Super Bowl pedigree as an offensive coordinator. He'd be at the top of my list if I were looking for a new OC this season. *looks at Lions*

Offense is only 1/3 of the job you have to do when you're a head coach. Some guys just can't do it. Turner looks like one of those guys.

    Joke was meh.

Anyway why do teams feel the need to recycle coaches. Get some new blood in the league change things up a bit

Good coaches are good coaches. Reid had a largely successful tenure in Philly, so why wouldn't a team give him a shot? And there are plenty of new names being cycled through this year. Mike McCoy, Bruce Arians, Chip Kelly, Pete Carmichael Jr., Ray Horton, etc.

Lions would be beyond retarded if they didn't try their hardest to get Turner. Team is pass happy already and have the players to execute his O greatly.

Just waiting to hear the news that Schwartz got fired along with the defense...

    Schwartz isnt getting fired <_>

They arent going to fire him a season after they made the playoffs. Now if they have a repeat of this year next year then he is gone.

If they were going to fire Schwartz they would have done it by now. No reason to wait when there are so many teams looking for a new head coach.

Not only this year but at least the last 2-3 years.

Yeah I know what he has done in the past... I know in the past he is typically good at helping QB's realize their potential. But I think he is done. The last 3 years with the chargers has been abysmal. Time for Turner to hang it up. Which makes sense why the Jets would be interested. The Jets are pure entertainment. bunch of clowns I tell you.

Schwartz is going to stay. So is Mayhew. Don't know how they haven't fired that QB coach yet.

my dream would for Cower to come back and coach the raiders.. that would be more imoprtant than anyone the raiders could possibly draft

Cowher is good but overrated imo. Let's be honest. What was he at Pitt. for years wise? How many championships? He is staying in the booth. The only place he would want to coach is The Giants and Coughlin aint going nowhere.

Reid was NOT sucessful. He won NOTHING! Puck Filly!

He didn't win a Super Bowl, but he got to one, made plenty of playoff appearances and won 10 playoff games. Most teams would love that kind of success. Once you get into the playoffs, anything can happen if you get hot.
