Statistics like scoring defense are pretty difficult to use when it comes to predicting playoff performance, if you ask me. Statistics will hold true throughout the course of a season, but anything can happen in the scope of one game, which is all that matters.
Anyhow, I don't trust them to be the ones to figure out how to stop Washington, which is why I think their defense will underwhelm this weekend. I'd be really happy if they did, however, because it gives teams a great amount of tape on how to do it.
Agreed. The Redskins are the last team I want the Seahawks playing in the Playoffs. I'd Rather them be playing GB or Minnesota. Frankly, they have their work cut out for them... I think the Seahawks have an excellent defense, however im not sure how well it will hold up against the guesswork that is required for a RG3/Morris matchup. SF would have a much better chance at beating that Redskins team by stopping their run. GB is also a good bet at being able to beat them by outscoring them... Seattle though? They have their work cut out for them. The defense is going to have to step up, or they will lose that game.
CLEVELAND -- Oregon's Chip Kelly appears to be among the candidates on the Browns' coaching wish list.
According to several reports, Cleveland's CEO Joe Banner is in Arizona and intends to interview Kelly, who is preparing the Ducks to play in Thursday's Tostitos Fiesta Bowl. The interview will take place Friday.
Kelly has been courted by NFL teams in the past and came close to taking Tampa Bay's job last year.
ravens will beat the colts, you heard it here first
Nope. Skully and I both already said it two pages ago. I think anyone who thinks the colts is going to beat the ravens is silly. Sorry- Luck is going to get a mouth full of Ray Lewis.

yeah it does. Look The colts were abysmal last year. And the reason for their turn around? 100% Luck. He is that fantastic. However in the playoffs? yeah he just doesnt have the experience to get it done and his team isn't good enough to help him overcome the rookie mistakes he will make.
Fucking September can't get here quick enough....Couple of pages back I said I thin the skins would win it all....Forgot all about The Pats. Pats have a D to go with the offense now. I'm picking The pats to take the trophy.
