Anyway im not saying he was amazing but he was a sure handed receiver when we needed him to be to pick up first downs. Also he only played in 17 games over his first two years because the second game last season he got hit awkward in Denver and tore his acl up bad.
I'm sad to see him go but at the same time we have more than enough talent at receiver.
You tryin to be a hero fool? You wanna see badass mother fucker?! I'll show ya a badass!!!
The second half of an NFL preseason game isn't always the most exciting place to be in the world, so we'll forgive the Metrodome audience on Friday night for getting a little distracted. And collectively losing their mind.
We'll let the tweets tell the story.
And the fans are doing the wave. PRESEASON FOOTBALL!
a " Tom Pelissero (@TomPelissero) August 18, 2012 OK, nothing too out of the ordinary here.
Fans at the Dome are doing the wave and some have start to throw their programs when they stand up. Security!
a " Judd Zulgad (@1500ESPNJudd) August 18, 2012 Well, that is different.
Now the wave involves fans throwing everything they can get their hands on while doing wave. Bucket of popcorn just hit # Bills employee.
a " Tom Pelissero (@TomPelissero) August 18, 2012 Fans are now throwing things from the upper deck at people in lower deck as wave keeps going around. This may not end well.
a " Tom Pelissero (@TomPelissero) August 18, 2012 Oh my. I'm not sure if this is a bad thing or just hilarious.
I have never seen this before. Reminds me of game at TCF with snow being thrown during the wave. twitter.com/andersonj/stata
a " Jeff Anderson (@andersonj) August 18, 2012 Picture evidence!
Longest I have ever seen. I'm surprised there's stuff left to throw. RT @ jwright21 : @ tompelissero might be the longest wave known to mankind
a " Tom Pelissero (@TomPelissero) August 18, 2012 This thing just will not end.
We are now getting an announcement about throwing things at the Dome. This is after fans threw their programs for a good 25 minutes.
a " Judd Zulgad (@1500ESPNJudd) August 18, 2012 Let's end this thing with feeling.
P.A. announcer, not Paul Allen, warns crowd about paper airplanes. One guy taunts security, throws it and leaves. # Vikings

I follow every team. I may not know the third string depth on every team, but still. Shipley's just one of those players that was great at college and was never an NFL player.
You're basing that off one full year in the nfl. That's kind of ridiculous it you ask me. You also have to remember who was on the team that year TO and ocho both complaining about needing the ball more. Palmer didn't throw to Shipley much but more often than not when he did Shipley got the job done in the situation he was put in. I think it's time for you to insert your foot into your mouth and worry about your 49ers and talk about them.

Yeah, that's good. Let's restrict all conversation to our respective teams. I said he couldn't stay healthy, and he never established himself as anything other than a poor wide receiver. Don't know why that hits you in the balls so hard.
Because you sound like a fool basing it off one nfl season and one injury that happened. If you knew the team at all you would Shipley was the one bright spot on that 2010 team. But no you take it upon yourself to comment on something you didn't follow.
I bought the jersey a couple years back jake. I just think its funny wine is making himself sound so stupid on this topic.

I don't mind Wine since he does have great football knowledge. I just enjoy the times when he is so sure about something and by the end of the season he ends up wrong about those sure things lol.

kinda like alex smith?
If the niners make the playoffs again, I think he will be worthy.
There should be no excuses with the players that were picked up in the off season.

9er's playoff run was a fluke. If they make it again it will be because of the defense and running game.

If the offensive line gives him time to throw, it could be very interesting.. :-SS
