Because you sound like a fool basing it off one nfl season and one injury that happened. If you knew the team at all you would Shipley was the one bright spot on that 2010 team. But no you take it upon yourself to comment on something you didn't follow.
I bought the jersey a couple years back jake. I just think its funny wine is making himself sound so stupid on this topic.
i agree....wine is an elitest fuck who think he knows more then everything else....its best to just let him talk and ignore him like erik
At least Wine has an educated opinion. Better than you ranting about how good the Lions are or how the refs blew the game for your team.
Carr picking off Rivers twice now. Looks like I won't draft him in fantasy. Rivers was a INT machine last season and looks like its carrying over to this season now.

Yeah, I'm basing it off of his career that hasn't been successful and injury prone. What do you want me to do? Say that he has a great NFL career because he was so good at Texas? He's never been a dependable player because of his health. Shipley was a bright spot on a team that nearly got Marvin Lewis fired? What a big deal.
I don't mind Wine since he does have great football knowledge. I just enjoy the times when he is so sure about something and by the end of the season he ends up wrong about those sure things lol.
It's half the fun of sports. Predicting things and getting them wrong. I was so certain that the Falcons would stomp their way through the postseason last year. I didn't know people have to be Nostradamus when predicting sports.
9er's playoff run was a fluke. If they make it again it will be because of the defense and running game.
I don't get this at all. It was a fluke, so they aren't good, but if they make it again it will because they are good? The defense and running game are the only reasons they made the playoffs last year. I don't really see why it'd be that different this year. Smith's not suddenly becoming Aaron Rodgers.
You have proven you did not watch the bengals the year he played is why you need to keep your mouth shut. This is why I say you sound like a fool. You just look at numbers and not the personnel that was around him in a 4-12 season that are almost all gone now. He was the one person you could count on to pick up the first down when you needed him to behind all the bullshit with Palmer, TO, ocho, and that piece of shit coordinator the bengals had. I'm not saying he was some amazing player but he also was definitely not a poor player that year. You make yourself sound like those old espn commercials where they said "don't talk sports out your ass any longer".
You tryin to be a hero fool? You wanna see badass mother fucker?! I'll show ya a badass!!!

Alright, let's go Nazi on what we can and can't say in a sports thread. That'll make this thread a lot more fun.
Opinions are cool too, Ape. I think he wasn't a good player, no matter the year he had in 2010, and I think the current Bengals would agree. They cut him before any mandatory cuts. So he catches a few first downs, he was the best possession receiver on a bad team...but he got cut before the team even had to. He's injury prone and isn't reliable, do I have to say that I watched all 16 Bengals games in order to say that? Maybe you think I'm talking sports out my ass, but you're talking some retarded football too.

Short/middle passes are perfect doe. I'm loving the run/pass balance we have.
KNOW-IT-ALL PIECE OF SHIT
But his short and medium range accuracy was excellent. He also ran the hurry up offense well.
I'd give him a B-
(i see the problem with my post now. I meant to put shaky with the deep ball)
