i forgot which pick this was, but the dude got picked and wasn't at the draft. they showed him at his home and they called his name and him and his family just sat there. i thought they were all bummed and shit. it looked funny as hell. minute later they all jumped for joy because it was on delay over there lol.
lol yeah i understand and i knew that about him being from texas....idk i just get the feeling like he thinks hes the shit...and no player at any level should ever think that....i have a feeling hes not going to work as hard as he should...and IMO he really isnt that great of a talent....the guy from GT is a much better prospect in my eyes
Would it have been better if he beat his chest in NY and then hugged the commissioner? He reacted just like everybody else if you really looked at it. If you just had a few million dollars handed to you in one phone call, are you going to go "Oh what steller news!"

i also hate them only doing one round....i already miss getting up on saturday morning from a night of drinking and sitting on the couch all day watching the draft
Nah, this change is for the better. Last night was one of the craziest first rounds I've ever seen. They're making it so people don't fall asleep after the first round.
Dez Bryant reminds me a lot of Mike Williams....though I do think Bryant has a better chance to succeed than he did. He better be willing to work to get back into shape though, something Williams wasn't willing to do and it cost him here.
