Okay I see that. Mason is what? 36 now, hes definetly on his way out. But I'm not sure what else the cowboys could have taken. I think it was a solid pick. I like Miles Austin, but I agree with Wine. He put it best. Austin cant replicate last season without another wide out helping him.
^this....and dez is going to be a bust...he doesn't have work ethic...did you see the way he reacted when he got drafted by the cowboys.....it looked like he already thought he was the shit....also its not going to be soo easy for teams to triple team calvin johnson any more with all our weapons, which will open things up for calvin and everyone else...im super excited for the season already...and equally excited for maddenz to come out
I think Dez has something to prove. For me, at least.
If, and I mean IF, we stay relatively healthy on offense, we are going to be very dangerous. Two legit tight ends, a star wide receiver plus a solid number two receiver, and a back who is a home-run threat with the ability to catch the ball out of the backfield when healthy. Having all those weapons should help Stafford's protection as well, since defenses won't be able to stack as many men in the box to rush the passer with all those options. But it's the Lions.....we shall see.

Lions spent first round picks on wide receivers that don't play...
"Who takes Clausen then, Wine? I think Holmgren likes McCoy."
I think Minnesota at 34. Then either Cleveland or Buffalo.
And that is why our franchise was set back for a decade.....
Yes.
No secondary for them to draft in round 3 however, that's bad.
We haven't exactly made additions either.

You could very well have a great pass rush going on, and the 49ers don't.
I think we need a good corner, which could be tough at this point...
I think the Cowboys got great value with their pick. He looked happy when the boys drafted him. That's all i got out of it.
