Harrison got fined again and Polamalu is whining about Goodell. I love how they're the only team still bitching about this.

DeSean Jackson is going to be wearing a new helmet this Sunday. Supposed to stop concussion and all.

Kenny Wilkerson of WIST radio in New Orleans has reported that Drew Brees has a fracture and a torn meniscus in his left knee.

Wilkerson is citing what he says is an "impeccable source," and that the information is "100 thousand-trillion-million percent" accurate. He also added that the pain sometimes causes Brees to make mistakes when calling or executing plays and that it's possible the quarterback could need microfracture surgery at some point. Brees injured the knee back in Week 3 and the Saints referred to it only as a sprain, but it sounds like they might be covering up a bigger issue. He's been picked off more often than normal this season, but overall Brees' play hasn't seemed to be affected by the injury.
    he's fine.

"NEW YORK -- The NFL has fined New England Patriots defensive tackle Myron Pryor $7,500 for his hit on Brett Favre that cut the Minnesota quarterback's chin.
Favre left the Vikings' loss midway through the fourth quarter Sunday and needed 10 stitches in his chin.
Pryor was not penalized on the play, in which his helmet got under Favre's facemask and cut Favre's chin."

Now that is ridiculous. The way its going now every defense player should set aside money for fines.

well... it was a heltmet-to-helmet hit that gave a man stitches.

Guaranteed if Favre didn't get a cut there would be no fine.

Umm... I know i'm going to sound like typical Pats fan here but...

Manning is not better then Brady. Rings matter.

Peyton is a much better QB than Brady.... there is absolutely no argument against that
  • HOODSHOODS Posts: 41,866 destroyer of motherfuckers
    Brady 3 rings(average recievers) > Manning 1 ring(superstar recievers)
Plus the pats owned the colts for years beating them multiple times in the playoffs. The superbowl the Colts won, was a joke. The Bears? Rex Grossman? Manning 2 fumbles, and a pick, and he was the MVP? they must have decided that before the game. where as Brady was the underdog in his 1st 2 superbowl wins and 2 game winning drives at the end to win. Manning's a great player, he's got all the records(except TD passes in a season), can't take that away from him, but he's the 2nd best QB in the league..
