The only time I have ever stopped caring about a team is when I lost interest in the sport, rather than the team itself. For example, hockey. I used to be a diehard Avalanche fan, but when I got into high school I was frustrated with the fact that I could only watch a portion of the games due to my schedule. Plus the changes to the NHL after the lockout didnt please me too much either.
its hard for me to follow the nba with the sixers sucking so bad for the last decade, but i still enjoy watching the big games throughout the season and the playoffs, but if the sixers were good, id be wayy more interested.
The offensive line was damn good today, surprisingly. Just too many penalties. Jeff Backus needs to be replaced at LT, but other than that the line isn't in terrible shape. Rob Sims was a good pickup from the Seahawks.

Stafford needs an O-line bad.

Is Jon Gruden still available for coaching?
I'm sure he would come back for the right job. Why?
Just wondering. I've been thinking of possible Singletary replacements. Now, it's not like I want Singletary gone, or think he should be, but a whole bunch of people have been floating the idea here. I just was thinking who our options are. It doesn't seem like there are many...
Unless you can convince Cowher or Gruden to coach, you're probably looking at another coordinator or assistant coach as a replacement, essentially a lateral move.

But, I believe in the Lions. I believe they are a team on the up, and it's so much better to be on the up and 4-12 than on the way down and 8-8.
