Alex Smith is going to have to grow up, and fast.
He just needs to be adequate. Saints aren't exactly a wall on the front 7. They'll have to be willing to throw downfield in order to win though. The defense will be where they win the game if they do, and if anyone needs to grow up and quick it's Spencer and Goldson.
The Saints held a pretty potent Vikings offense to 9 points...I know Sidney Rice is hurt and Chester Taylor is gone, but they still have plenty of weapons.

Peterson ran excellent, and if they hadn't gotten off to a bad start with the passing game (personally I think Favre is in his last year of efficiency), they would have scored much more.
